Age discrimination - does it exist in our industry?

I would argue that the young and not so experienced "millenials" do become "entitled" even without much work done and even though they make less effort to evolve their skills, while there is so much content online that is basically free and can be used to that aim.
On the other hand, industry veterans are not appreciated enough.
