Radio message board wars
Radio message board wars
Radio-Info.com is engaged in a desperate attempt to steal traffic from more successful locally run message boards in markets where activity on R-I's own boards is negligible. The service has been spamming forums in various markets, including the Upper Midwest (particularly Minneapolis/St. Paul), where the locals seem to prefer redandnater.com which has tens of thousands of posted messages generated over the past year, compared to 53 for R-I. 53!
I am posting this on here instead of Radio-Info.com, because they consider any mentions to competing message boards (including All Access) as promoting the competition and spam. I am by no means promoting either message board, but to make a message board's campaign of spamming competitors known outside of the regional radio message boards affected.

Re: Radio message board wars
I have noticed that my post on here was linked in threads about this subject on Radio-Info's "Ask Radio-Info" and MSP boards.
I have also cross-posted this on the Net Talk board on All Access.

Re: Radio message board wars
Radio-Info is known far and wide for providing user information to radio station management when any post on their site hits a little too close to home. This has resulted in numerous people losing their jobs as a result of posting on that site, and now, has resulted in that site being a tumbleweed short of a ghost town.
Despite this fact, they have taken it upon themselves to spam the bejesus out of sites like ours (www.redandnater.com) in hopes that the legend of their willingness to play ball with corporate lawyers is not as well known in the Midwest as it is on the east coast. Their pathetic efforts have done nothing to our traffic levels, and, guessing by the fact that the have had 53 posts in the past year, it doesn't appear to be helping them either.
I used to respect Tom Taylor. But his willingness to participate in such shenanigans proves that he is ignorant to what Radio-Info is doing to his once impressive reputation.

Re: Radio message board wars
Wow really??? People have lost their jobs due to posting on radio info boards?? that's absolutely crazy!! I really like the boards that they've set up here at AllAccess. They are safe and have really been picking up speed lately!!
Re: Radio message board wars
Radio Info spies big time on their members. They censor and control the content, favor some posters. It's a bad site, which has even reconfigured their logo to appear more like the old R&R logo, lol. The content on the discussion boards is pretty lame, with many of the viral posters being radio groupies or wannabees. I avoid it.

So where is RedandNater?
