Pittsburgh Internet Country Station Searching For On-Air Talent

Post by samdaddieco106 » Thu Jul 16, 2020 3:42 pm

Hello all!

My name is Sam D'Addieco, Program Director for new internet country station Parkway 106, which is currently based out of Pittsburgh, PA and will be launching on August 7, 2020. With all of the layoffs and furloughs sucking the localism out of some of our market's heritage stations, I thought now has never been a better time to start a quality, locally-programmed internet station that promises to serve the community and remain "live and local" at all costs. As we aim to target a regional audience, we are looking for a dedicated team of on-air talent that has experience working in the market. Currently, several dayparts are open as well as weekend/swing positions. All positions are volunteer at the moment, though we plan to convert the positions to part-time as soon as we can. We want to be there for the community, and having a team of local, interactive air staff will help to make that happen.

If you're interested in working with the station, or if you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me via email at daddiecosam@gmail.com. You can also find out more about the station by visiting our website at parkway106.com, and we are on all 3 major social media platforms at @parkway106pgh.

Thanks again and I hope to hear from some fellow Pittsburghers!
