10 Questions with ... Alicia SelinBRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
I dove into the world of radio as an intern in college which I did during Christmas break at a radio station in North Carolina. When I graduated, they offered me a job, which I accepted and started off the in the promotions/marketing department. Within six months of starting, I began training to be on the air and I worked my way up from overnights, to nights, to middays. From there, I found a position in Colorado and moved, I was on a Rock station, 95 Rock, and a Hot AC station, Mix 104.3. I got a promotion and now have a nationally syndicated show as well as my local show on Mix 104.3.
1. How would you describe your first radio gig?
A very fun experience that taught me a whole lot about not only radio but people, business and just life overall.
